In terms of development, hasn’t everything worth doing with heavy metal already been done already? Is everything that is coming out now just a repeat of something else?
Although metal music has been so diverse and adaptable in the past, I think that there is a little bit of a danger of it becoming over-saturated and stagnant if something new and exciting can be done with it. What are your thoughts on this?
I don’t know, I see what you mean, but I don’t really think the stuff that’s coming out today are replicas of past work as each artist has their own aspect of individuality and there’s new stuff coming out all the time that was probably never predicted in the past and so it will probably be the same in the future, we just don’t know what to predict yet. =) xx

I am a heavy metal vocalist who got sick and is now having issues with high screams?
I continue to do my warm-ups and drink warm water, tea and such but my high screams are now causing me to gag and cough, however my mid’s and low screams work like champs. Could it be that I smoke and its caught up to me? or is there another reason. I’m only 24, i usually smoke maybe 4-5 cigarettes a day if that.
Smoking is horrible for your voice but it can take your vocal chords 2-4 weeks to heal after a cold.
If voice does not return to its normal characteristics and capabilities within two to four weeks after a cold, a medical evaluation by an ear, nose, and throat specialist is recommended. A throat examination after a change in the voice lasting longer than one month is especially important for smokers. (Note: A change in voice is one of the first and most important symptoms of throat cancer. Early detection significantly increases the effectiveness of treatment.) good luck.

Do they use technology equipment to make your voice very clear?
You gotta work as hard as you can to get your name out. You have to know the people in your local area, and if there are none, you’ll have to move to an area with a decent amount of recording companies. It’s not easy, you have to work hard at it. For every 1 person that succeeds at it there are about 1000 people that failed trying to get where that 1 person got.

When measuring the volume of a metal, it is submerged in water. How would the volume be affected if the metal wasn’t fully submerged?
if you measured the volume of the metal by how much the water level jumped upon adding the metal…
it would not have jumped as high as it would have….
if the metal had totally submerged.
the difference in water level jump would be too small,
giving an apparent volume of metal that was too small
