I am planning to sing in my wedding this December and I have the CD of the music. I’m hoping I don’t have to hire a pianist to have it played without the vocals and just pop the CD in a particular player that can remove the vocals. Is there such thing? Or any way I can do this or have somebody else do it?

The best way is to just search for an "instrumental" of the song. If you’re good at finding music on the net, you can do it yourself, or get somebody that is good at it. Just search like you would for any other song, but include the word ‘instrumental’.

There are some equalizers that attempt to remove vocals from songs, but I’ve heard them before, and it doesn’t get them out totally, and it distorts the music a little bit.

I like to sing rock music and some of it requires that I shout or scream. (I don’t sing the kind that screams constantly though.) The Beatles and U2 are two bands I like to sing who scream occasionally.

How do I maintain the integrity of my voice and not damage it while achieving those loud rock vocals and screams?

First you will want to take vocal lessons, maybe from someone who specializes in pop/rock music. The only difference between singing classical music and rock music is your vowels. You will have to learn to manipulate them to get the sound you want.

yes, but you have to be 100 times better than if you were in a band…like Joe Satriani…

You always hear people talk about his gifted performances and breaking a lot of records but you never hear a lot of people talk about him as a vocalist. He really had a wonderful voice.

i to buy some metal tubing for an outdoor bench im currently making but im not sure what type of metal sqecifically i should use. any suggestions would be great, it needs to be rust proof and corrosion resistant im also on a budget and live in the UK if you have any suggestions.
ive just looked at some alluminium tubing and there seems to be to thicknesses 16 swg and 10 swg. 10 swg is thicker but would the 16 swg still be strong enough as it is cheaper.

Aluminum or galvanized steel.The steel will be stronger but heavier.And it will be cheaper than aluminum.

"The conversion of nuclear kinetic energy to particle potential energy" is definitely wrong. I’m not even sure what it means, it seems to have been thrown in as a nonsense answer that can’t be true.

I’m not entirely confident with either of the other two examples, though.

"The conversion of mass to energy" I think is supposed to be the answer, but it’s more a consequence of the nuclear reaction than a source of it’s energy. There’s also a conversion of mass to energy in standard chemical reactions, although the energies are much lower so the mass difference is harder to measure. I’d personally say the source of the energy is due to differences in nuclear binding energy. It’s just that the binding energy is so large in nuclear physics that it is observable as a mass deficit.

I want to get the vocals so i can use them in mixing. I have several acapellas already that i have downloaded, but i have 3 or 4 that i really want badly, but can’t find anywhere. If you know a program or a technique used to extract the vocals, please help! Thanks.

since you don’t have the master tapes,
there is no good way to separate the vocals from the instruments

you can "play games" with eq, etc, but they don’t really separate them, they just cut frequencies, so the vocals/instruments sound weird
