You’re being held if you are not free – held to ties that bind that you can release. Relax. Simply relax and the power of the emotions and the bonds around you at levels of dependency will slip and fall off of you. Then, smile in your heart as you think of Jesus. Lift your eyes – lift your hands. Disconnect from all that is around you. Connect to Jesus. Try it!

To be voerwhelmed …
To be voerwhelmed by God….It’s so powerful! We end up doing the same thing that the guy does… We just have to stop and prasie him,sometimes we may fall on our kness and surrender before our God…ANd We just started to cry…For all the things that go on in our lives. To be able to Worship the same God that people all over the world worships is absolutly amazing! it’s like being able to see the same moon, the same stars… its amazing!

This song, just like him walking in the video makes me forget whats around me and want to stop and worship. Its neat in the end where the music stops and he is in the middle of the street not even know what he was doing…….Now that is true praise!!!

The man seems insecure while he walks. However, he finds courage and sings among the people, despite what people may think. I have trouble doing this in Adult worship.

In my youth group we learn how to worship god in places we probuly dont, but I didn’t get that because we should worship god everywhere On camera or not in public or not, even at school I read my bible during free time

can you not see that he isnt actually singing on the streets except maybe the part where the music stops. the music we hear is added onto the video and theyve synced it so it seems as though he’s singing it there and then. and regards the camera in your face, well im sure the camera was a bit of distance away- they used a thing on the camera called zoom….
not to everyones taste but oh well.. I like it though. Hopefully God does too- praising Him in general.

i think you are misunderstanding… i totally agree with you. it is humiilty for sure. though one aspect could be looked as pharisee like in the sense of im doing it in front of all these people… and iknow they are watching me… but this isnt the guys mind set…

It is not pharisee like. If he said everyone who is a christian has to worship like that or they are not saved, that would be wrong. I have been listening to this song and want to sing it out like this man. How great it is to worship our lord and savior in this way. nothing in this world is important except our relationship with Jesus Christ. Danile 182 is the one who is pharisaical. I don’t see any pride in this, only humility. judge not lest you be judged.

at first i totally agreed with you, and still do. though i think the video is more of a message that we can worship anywehere ( walking driving etc) 3:26 is pretty ballsy and ‘ pharisee like’ but people could obviously see he is making a video,,, so its not like he was just doing it to do it.. does that make sense?
i know i worship often while walking and felt like doing that many times but again… too much for unbelievers. ahah

Indifferent about the video. I for one have hard time praising the Lord with a video camera in my face. Cant imagine that anyone who saw this video being made thought that guy was doing anything other priding himself by worshiping that in public. I believe that is what Pharisees did in Jesus day? Overall, better ways to share and exude your faith.
