Hey I’m a black girl whose mostly interested in rock music type guys, especially those with that have the Zac Efron hair – metro station, not "gangster" etc. I would like to know from you guys what type of black girls you’re most attracted to in terms of personality, and/or looks. I am not ghetto and am tall, and intelligent.

Both this girl I am interested in and myself like rock music.

There is a small venue 20 minutes from where I live that features local rock bands a few times a month.

When I ask her out, should I suggest the rock music concert as a first date location ?

Yesyesyes!!! That would be great! Don’t worry about the talking aspect. You can have her come over an hour early and talk to her then and then after the concert you can hang out and talk! I’m sure she’ll be super excited!

Some chose the music which relates to them or some listen to it just for the way it is..what ever it is..I want this in the best way that you can explain. (and by "rock" I mean all types)…it would be really nice if you could put add some details as to why!

I am not sure why there would be much difference. Rock and Hip Hop are very similar, most people would probably listen to both. While I expect you think Hip Hop is mostly for the black community, everyone listens to Hip Hop, so it wouldn’t be much of a difference. Maybe a younger audience of youth would be more inclined to listen to Hip Hop as opposed to older generations, but that doesn’t mean older people don’t Rap and listen to Hip Hop either.
