@bogertheogre its been my experience that most guys that hate on some one with skill is due to a lack of self esteem it was a metaphor sorry if i offended but look at the language being used and how they hate on this girl for being good. i havent heard their multi platinum record yet, and why not they are better right? but i feel that they need a reality check a real one and that is where i call them out on their skills and sadly enough the only way to do that is to insult their manhood.

The girl flat out rocks, and plays many different styles, all very well. I have been playing for 23 years so I’ve heard all of you 20 somethings who think that shredding is the best way to show your chops. NOT!!! When you guys get the props from MJ, Carlos, Steve Vai, and Paul Reed Smith, then you can talk. And yes she is very easy on the eyes!! More power to her and her top ten video on VH1!!!

She didnt set out to be a legend. Who did? Orianthi should ignore the naysayers and keep rockin. Its all for the love of the music baby! Sit and listen to BBking (legend) for an hour and then put on some Orianthi. And there you have it! She rocks. Keep rockin girl!

The truth of the matter is that the media hypes what they want to or what they feel good about at any given moment.Orianthi is a girl who played hard and got the right auditions as well as getting herself seen&heard by the right people at the right time, ie. Steve Vai, Santana, MJ etc. She is soo not hard on the eyes, has a real cute accent and oh ya, did I mention she rocks the guitar and sings?! Shes a Rock star right?! Who is her manager? Legends have great managers and great talent!

Her feel is something I’ve always sought in my own guitar playing…
In all honesty though, I prefer the playing of Andy Timmons. But don’t get me wrong..Orianthi is someone to keep an eye on in the near future~
