What can one do with a vocalist and guitarist?

My brother and I share similar goals and so have created a band a while back. I am the lead vocalist and he is the guitarist. We both write songs and want to get serious with our music. What can we do?

Get a drummer and a bass player.

  3. well you need a drummer and a bass player.
    maybe you could also play the guitar but only as the rhythm guitar player.
    then you need go and play at places, not big places just little clubs or pubs and then as you progress you might become famous so your going to need to get yourself an agent!
