How do I find out what address an inmate who has been recently released was released to?

Is this public information and if yes, where can I obtain the information. I am in Arizona and the inmate was just released from an AZ prison.

You should be able to contact the probation or parole office. If on probation, he will be supervised from the office in the county in which he was convicted. If on parole, then you should be able to contact the state parole office to get that info.

you do have to have a legal reason for the info.

You dont. Its not public information and its against the law for a Jail or Prison to release that information to anybody other than Law Enforcement agencys

It is not public information, unless the inmate was required to register as a sex offender. If you want to find this person, hire, a Private Investigator.
