Im into rock and metal music ,(No death metal and poppy rock stuff), i like all rock genres and the breaking benjamin, alter bridge, metallic type metal. I wanna plan on going to college and study music in a few years but I Dont know where to go. i like rock music so i wanna go somewhere that rock and metal music is mostly well known. i think i heard that detroit is one.

   detroit is know now for underground acid rap bands like twiztid,icp,mastermind,and so on there really is no "Nashville"of metal Seattle had the grunge scene but that’s been dead for awhile

   I think that if you want to study music, you shouldn’t limit yourself to one genre.
