When i record my …
When i record my voice with a simple USB input microphone, it’s off timing to the music. it comes in later than it’s supposed to. i know that’s not a huge problem but it’s annoying. a larger problem i have with recording is when i try playing back my vocals, i sound like Alvin and The Chipmunks. any idea what’s going on here or how to fix this? Help would be very much appreciated.

If done by a good …
If done by a good engineer on a proper recording, pitch correction can be invisible. some are more obvious than others tho (i.e. waves tune).
but if your singer really sucks, you will hear some weird artifacts when you correct pitch. that’s where comping and stacking vox can come into play
